Shipping
Astrolabes generally take 4-5 days to make. Smaller instruments will be quicker.
Items are generally shipped USPS.
If you order a larger thing (like an astrolabe) and a smaller thing (like a volvelle or nocturnal), you may see two charges for shipping. This is because the different sized items have different shipping profiles. Fear not, I will combine the shipping and refund any difference.
Unfortunately, due to the complex regulations of European GPSR laws, I am unable to ship to European countries at this time. I am as annoyed about this as you are.

Customs and Import Taxes
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.
Returns and Exchanges
I'm OK with you returning or exchanging a product as long as it arrives back to me in resellable condition. You're responsible for the postage sending it back to me. This does not apply for customised items. Astrolabes (with their customised latitude plates) are generally OK, but if I engraved the date of your wedding on it, then no.
Cancellations
You've generally got until the next morning to cancel an order. I go to the Post Office around 7am Central Time! Otherwise, it's likely the order will be on its way already. If you've ordered an astrolabe then you will have up to 2 days to cancel. They take longer to make.
