This is a portable Diptych sundial that will work at most latitudes; from 25º (Southern Florida) to 55º (Canada). Poke the cord through the hole for the nearest latitude to your current location, point it North and keep it level; the Solar time will be shown on the appropriate time ring.
It is made of 3D-printed ASA (which is UV-resistant), wood veneer and assorted hardware, including a Compass and Bullseye Spirit Level in order to properly orient the device when in use.
It will read Solar Time which is different to that on your watch - there's a graph engraved on the inside for the Equation of Time correction, as well the latitudes of major American and World cities.
