MCM Style Rocket Desk Clock - Rockets, Blue

This is a Mid-Century Modern style desk clock in a Rocket shape. This one is printed with an original rockets MCM-style pattern.

The clock is made of MDF-core printed plywood on the front and back, with laser engraved acrylic clock face and back plate.
The surround is a wood ply cut into a flexible strip; glued onto the internal structure. It contains a quartz clock mechanism,
which takes one AA battery (not supplied since Etsy doesn't allow us to sell batteries). This is accessible through the bayonet-
fitting plate on the back side of the clock. The hands are metal, cut into a custom shape.

If you put an electric tealight in the base, you will see a very faint glow through the window above the clock face :-) It needs to be pretty dark in the room to see this, but it's fun.
